Do I really need a WordPress maintenance plan?+

If your website matters to your business, then yes. WordPress, its themes and its plugins are updated constantly, and each update can introduce security fixes — or conflicts. Without regular, careful maintenance a site slowly falls behind, slows down and becomes vulnerable. A care plan is simply insurance that keeps your site working and takes the worry off your plate.

What counts as a “content update”?+

Small changes to your existing site — editing text, swapping an image, updating prices or opening hours, adding a blog post you’ve written, or tweaking a menu. Each plan includes a set amount of our time each month for these (15 minutes, 30 minutes or 2 hours). Anything larger, like a new page design or a feature build, we’ll simply quote for separately before starting.

Did you have to build my site to maintain it?+

Not at all. We happily take on WordPress sites built by anyone. We start with a full health check so we understand exactly how your site is put together, fix anything that needs urgent attention, and then look after it going forward — whether we built it or not.

What happens if my site gets hacked or goes down?+

Our monitoring usually catches issues before you even notice. If something does go wrong, we act quickly — cleaning up any compromise and, if needed, restoring from a recent, tested backup to get you back online fast. Because we keep daily off-site backups, even a worst-case scenario is a recoverable one, not a disaster.

Is hosting included in the price?+

Maintenance and hosting are separate things, so our care plans work alongside whatever hosting you already have. That said, we can host your site for you too — many clients prefer having everything under one roof. If you’d like managed hosting bundled in, just ask and we’ll put together a combined quote.
