You’re not choosing an agency. You’re choosing the people behind it.
Riverforge isn’t a faceless agency with a call centre and a contract to trap you. It’s a small, senior team who answer their own emails, tell you the truth, and treat your budget like it’s coming out of our own pocket. Because in a way, our reputation says it is.

WHY WE EXIST
We got tired of watching good businesses lose to easier-to-find ones.
After two decades in B2B software — a lot of it spent watching brilliant companies get out-marketed by louder, lesser ones — a pattern became impossible to ignore. The firms winning online usually weren’t the best. They were just the easiest to find.
Riverforge started as a simple reaction to that unfairness. The plumber with twenty years of five-star jobs, the consultancy with a client list to die for, the studio doing genuinely lovely work — they deserved to be the first name a customer finds, not the fourth. So we built the practical systems that make that happen: the website, the SEO, the AI visibility, the ads, the follow-up. No mystery, no monthly smoke and mirrors.
We’re based in Reading, on the banks of the Thames, and we run on tea and straight answers. We stay small on purpose — small enough that the person you meet is the person doing the work, and big enough to handle everything getting-found actually takes.
Four things we won’t budge on.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Peter Claridge
Peter has spent twenty years helping companies grow — first inside fast-moving B2B software businesses, later as the person other founders called when the marketing wasn’t working. He started Riverforge to bring that same commercial thinking to the businesses that need it most but can rarely afford a full in-house team.
He’s a details person who happens to be allergic to jargon — as happy talking through a keyword strategy as he is arguing about the correct order to build a Lego Star Destroyer. When he’s not tuning someone’s visibility, he’s usually by the river with a cup of tea and a notebook full of ideas he probably won’t get to.
“The firms winning online are not always the best firms. They’re often just the easiest to find. My whole job is to fix that for the people who deserve it.”
Why they took the plunge with us.
Choosing who to trust with your marketing is a big decision. I don’t take it lightly.
If you’ve read this far, you’re probably weighing us up — and you should. Handing over your visibility to someone is a leap of faith. All I’ll promise is this: we’ll tell you the truth, we’ll do the work we said we’d do, and if we’re ever not the right fit, we’ll say so honestly rather than string you along.
No pressure, no 47-slide deck. Just a proper conversation about your business and whether we can help. That’s the whole pitch.
