Website redesign that keeps the rankings you’ve earned.

We redesign websites that no longer reflect the organisation. New look, clearer messages and a better structure, with the pages that already bring in enquiries protected.

A dated website beside its redesign, with a list of what was carried over: the pages that rank, the redirects and the tracking.
An example, with illustrative names and figures.

We work in the platforms you already use.

  • WordPress
  • Webflow
  • Google Analytics
  • Tag Manager
  • Search Console

Sounds familiar?

  • The site no longer looks like the organisation you’ve become.
  • It looks fine on a laptop and poor on a phone.
  • You’re embarrassed to send people to it.
  • You’re worried a redesign will wipe out your Google rankings.
  • Nobody can edit it without calling someone.
  • It’s slow, and visitors leave before it loads.

If two or more ring true, it’s worth a call.

What we do.

Audit first

We find the pages that rank and convert today, so the redesign protects them.

New design

A fresh look and clearer layouts, built around what buyers need to decide.

Redirects

Every old address mapped to its new home, so rankings and bookmarks survive.

Better content

Pages rewritten where they’re weak, and kept where they work.

Faster and mobile-ready

A site that loads quickly and works properly on phones.

Checked after launch

We watch Search Console and analytics after launch and fix anything that slips.

Nothing you’ve earned gets lost.

A redesign changes the address of every page, which is where rankings usually go missing. We plan for it before design starts.

Before

We record what ranks, what converts and which pages other sites link to.

During

Every old address is redirected to its closest new page, one by one.

After

We watch Search Console and fix crawl errors in the weeks that follow.

How it works.

Audit

We review the current site, its search performance and what your buyers need from it.

Plan

We agree what to keep, what to rewrite and the structure of the new site.

Redesign

We design and build the new site on a private staging site you can review.

Launch

We redirect every old address, switch over at a quiet time and watch the results.

A redesign should make the site work harder, not only look better.

A new look isn’t the goal. We set targets with you for enquiries, speed and search visibility, and measure the new site against them.

About SEO and AI visibility

What clients say.

“StreamAlive has seen a real improvement in visibility across both Google and AI search since working with Riverforge. They’re like an extension of our team and really got to know our business. We didn’t have huge budgets like other tech companies but they worked within that constraint to bring in quality traffic, with #1 Google results and AI tools recommending us over our competitors - visitors arriving through ChatGPT and Gemini convert at around 20%. For us, the value has been in turning visibility into actual product signups.”

Lux NarayanFounder, StreamAlive. Google review.

“You came in, quickly understood the problem, cut through the noise and focused on the things that would make the biggest difference. The results speak for themselves, but what I’ve really valued is how clearly he explains what needs doing and why.”

How it’s priced.

Redesigns are a fixed price from a written specification, set after we audit the current site. What affects the price:

  • The size of the current site and how many pages move across
  • How much content needs rewriting
  • Whether you’re changing platform, for example moving to WordPress
  • How much new design and functionality you need
  • How many redirects the new structure needs

Questions.

Something else? Ask us.

Will a redesign hurt our Google rankings?

Not if it’s planned properly. We keep the pages that rank, redirect every old address and check Search Console after launch. Positions can still move for a few weeks while Google catches up.

How do you know what to keep?

We audit the current site with Search Console and analytics. Pages that bring in traffic and enquiries are protected.

Do we have to move to WordPress?

No. We recommend a platform after the audit. Most clients choose WordPress because their teams can edit it easily.

Can you keep our existing content?

Yes. We keep what works, rewrite what doesn’t, and agree the split in the specification.

How long does a redesign take?

Most projects take 5 to 16 weeks, depending on the size of the site and how quickly feedback comes back.

Will the site go offline during the switch?

No. We build on a private staging site and switch over at a quiet time, so the current site stays live until the new one is ready.

What does a redesign cost?

We quote a fixed price after the audit. Our pricing page shows what drives it.
