Restaurant website design
Restaurant web design for restaurants and groups: the room, the food and a booking button that is always in reach. Website design for restaurants that feels like the place.

Guests decide where to eat before they read the menu. The website is the first table.
Restaurant website design is the work of making a screen feel like the room.
What a restaurant website has to get right
Most visits are quick and on a phone. A restaurant website design agency earns its fee by getting the guest to the menu, the hours and a table in a few taps.
Booking in one tap
Book a table sits in the header on every page, on a phone too. The Cedro, Chowk and Fox & Furrow concepts all keep it in view, and the Harvest & Hive concept does the same with Order ahead.
Menus that stay current
Menus change with the season and the supplier. Your team should be able to change a dish or a price in a minute, without waiting for a developer.
Locations done properly
For a group, each site gets its own page with hours, address, menu and booking link, so a guest reaches the right one. The Fox & Furrow concept starts with a choice of location.
The feel of the room
Each brand gets its own palette, type and photography. Cedro is candlelit and quiet. Fox & Furrow is warm and busy. Harvest & Hive is bright and fast. None of them looks like another.
Four restaurant concepts, each in its own colours
We designed these concepts for B3 Designers to present to their restaurant clients. Each takes its palette, type and photography from its own brand, as a real project would, so the page takes on the room as you move through it.
Good restaurant web design does not look like a template. It looks like the place a guest is about to walk into.
Cedro. A modern Italian restaurant group, candlelit and quiet, with a page for each location.
Fox & Furrow. A gastro-pub group, warm and busy, opening with a choice of location.
Chowk. Moving footage inside the name, and Book a table always in view.
Harvest & Hive. A cold-pressed juice and café brand, bright and quick, with Order ahead in reach.
The pages a restaurant website needs
Menus
Every menu as editable text with dietary notes, so it can be read on a phone, found by search and changed in a minute.
Book a table
A booking tool you already use, linked or embedded, with the button in the header of every page.
Locations
A page for each site with its hours, address, map, menu and booking link, and its own search set-up.
What’s on
Events, specials and seasonal menus, written so they can be updated weekly without a developer.
Private hire and gift cards
Enquiry pages with capacities and photographs, and a way to buy a gift card.
The story
Who cooks, where the food comes from and why the place is the way it is.
What makes a guest book
A guest is choosing an evening. The site should make that choice feel safe and obvious.
Photography that shows the room
The food, the room and the people, shot in the light the guest will actually sit in. It does more than any sentence.
Reviews and press in plain view
Your best reviews and write-ups on the pages where guests decide, with a link to the full set.
The practical answers
Hours, phone number, allergens, parking and children’s menus, easy to find on a phone in a queue.
Found when people search
Guests search for the cuisine and the town. We set up each location for those searches, and offer monthly SEO and AI visibility if you want more.

Restaurant website design: your questions
How much does restaurant website design cost?
Most restaurants fall into our first two bands: £3,000 to £8,000 for a focused site and £8,000 to £12,000 for a restaurant with private hire, events and a strong brand. Online ordering is scoped separately. See the pricing page for the detail.
How long does restaurant website design take?
About 5 to 7 weeks for a focused site and 7 to 10 weeks for a larger one. Photography is the biggest factor, so we plan it first.
What should a restaurant website show first?
The room, the food and a way to book. Opening hours and the address come straight after, because that is why many guests are on the page.
Can our team edit the menus ourselves?
Yes. Menus are ordinary pages in WordPress, so changing a dish, a price or a dietary note takes a minute and needs no developer.
Can you connect our booking system?
Yes. We link to or embed the booking tool you already use, and put the button where a guest on a phone will see it.
We have several locations. How do you handle that?
Each location gets its own page with its hours, address, map, menu and booking link, and its own search set-up. A guest chooses their site once and stays on it.
Will a restaurant website help us rank for our town?
It can. We set up each location for the searches guests make, including the cuisine and the town, and offer monthly SEO and AI visibility for more.
Who looks after the website after launch?
You can, in WordPress, with training from us. Or choose a WordPress care plan from £49 a month: updates, backups, security and monitoring, plus time for small changes.
